Keeper is an
eladrin charged with protecting Spring Garden; with
Aiqus and
Pyrax both dead, he is the monastery's sole defense. Although he is "only the hand of the
Immortal Council," Keeper is instrumental to Spring Garden's safety.
After
Kapital dealt with the raging
suneater bear, he approved of the guild and pledged the monastery's friendship to them.
Description
Keeper possesses an otherworldly beauty. With flawless golden skin and white-gold hair, he is usually seen in his
summer or
spring forms.
Personality
Keeper betrays few emotions and seems wary of outsiders. Despite his aloofness, the knight is well-respected by the Immortal Council and the monks of Spring Garden.
Relationships
His mate Aiqus was killed by the
Order of the White Stag; he sees them as violent xenophobes, but was surprised to hear they had contact with a
nichny.
He takes his role as protector very seriously and is deeply protective of the monks, who, in his own words, are "typically people who seek meditation after escaping unfortunate pasts."
History
When Kapital first entered Spring Garden, Keeper seemed uneasy about the monks hiring adventurers to deal with the suneater bear. Still, despite his reservations, the knight offered them simple lodgings while he spoke to the Immortal Council on their behalf.
When the group was permitted to hunt, Keeper regretted that he could not aid them; he was suspicious about who would arrive if he left Spring Garden undefended.
After the group returned, bloodied but triumphiant, Keeper was genuinely relieved and tended to their wounds himself. On behalf of the Immortal Council, he thanked Kapital for their aid and promised that Spring Garden would always welcome them with open arms.
