General Summary
After reconvening outside the ruins of Hellford, the party took some much-needed rest. Coincidentally, the date of their reunion also happened to be the 5th of Raindraw, a holiday celebrated in the Iron Dominion called Remember the Blackreach, which commemorates the loss of the Blackreach at the hands of Joseph Dawn. Oliver Revilo baked a campfire cake for Jack Morning, but found out after the fact that Morning had decided to spend the day away from camp in solitude.
During the evening of the 5th, Tourmaline and Rowan had a heart-to-heart conversation about what the future would look like. Rowan was still unsure about whether he wanted to stay in the Material Plane, or if he wanted to finally, truly, pass on to the next life. He decided to stay for the time being, but promised Tourmaline that he wouldn't force himself to stay if he felt that it was time to move on.
On the 6th of Raindraw, the party made the difficult decision to travel to Beacon, the provincial capitol of Chapel Valley Province, and home to many of the party's figurative (and perhaps literal) closeted skeletons. To make their arrival easier, Ecci decided to work with Oliver to get in contact with Imgu Lible, a nephew to the Psamektia Family of the Tengari Consortium, whom Ecci had previously converted to Eccistianism. Using the Cryptogram, Ecci and Oliver sent Imgu a series of short messages over their week-long journey to Beacon announcing the grand return of the founder of Eccistianism herself, with instructions to meet them at the Under Ward and provide her companions - his brothers and sisters in Eccistianism - with accommodations in the Hilltop Ward.
Over the course of their journey, the party encountered a group of Vaqueros herding some Hadrosaur north towards Bigmountain, likely with the intent of selling them as meat or beasts of burden. The party chose to keep their distance as they passed the herd.
When the party arrived in Bigmountain on the 15th of Raindraw, they spent some of their downtime awaiting the Train to Beacon shopping, busking, proselytizing, and researching. The combined efforts of Ecci and Oliver lead to 8 new converts to Eccistianism over the course of the day in Bigmountain. Cass and Jack Morning traveled to a university in Bigmountain to discover more information about the Precursors and the Spellburrows they had discovered in the Precursor ruin they had come across in the Good Harvest Plains, but came out more or less empty-handed.
On the evening of the 15th, the party boarded the Train to Beacon, and the next morning on the 16th of Raindraw, the party arrived in the capitol city of Chapel Valley Province.
