Lady Viyolia Aurillis Lycoris-Arehna- Lycoris, Of Clockflores

The third daughter of Arachnia Lycoris, born with Arachnia's second husband, Hassaran Lycoris in 2339 DO.
Viyolia seems to enjoy a lot less of Arachnia's attention and guidence than many of her other siblings. Raised to follow much of the typical roles of a noble lady Viyolia has since moved from the manor with a husband of her own, Foxtrant Lycoris-Arehna, whom, being from an elven family of similar standing to Viyolia's family, retained and doublebarrelled their surnames.
Viyolia grew up in the Lycoris household with access to a variety of educational pursuits and less of the pressure to join the church than her two older sisters. She gravitated to Arcane pursuits and collected a Wizard Spellbook. She is the only member of her family to have attended a Wizarding academy.
Within her family, Viyolia often looks to be a more minor player, but she is slowly working alongside her husband to strengthen a newer branch of the Fate cult in the southwest of Tempricida, a town known as Clockflores. Her husband manages much of the work with the clergy, but Viyolia's arcane abilities and array of knowledge helps manage and quell much discent from those living there about the family's power over the region, encouraging a plan of greater expansion in the next century. However, they did not get out unscathed from the loss of the Lycoris' family reputation after Amelica Lycoris abandoned her oath.
While Viyolia avoided a lot of Arachnia's controlling nature, she also has had little to none of Arachnia's praise and attention. As such she often has been said to be quite insecure, often making an effort to push her abilities in front of her subjects and anyone who will show minor interest to recieve their praise.
Viyolia is not particularly close to any of her siblings, having no full siblings and growing up mostly sent to a variety of boarding schools and later a Wizard College, where she met her husband Foxtrant in her first year of studies. As such, she is more tied into other cultural norms within the area, dyeing her hair red in the style of some of the humans and elves she met at her schools. Though Arachnia does not approve, she has not yet forbidden her from doing so.
Arachnia was originally not fond of Foxtrant, nor Viyolia's sudden attachment to someone so far out of the Lycoris Family's older alliances. However, due the Arehna Family managing to secure the territory that would later be known as Clockflores and planning to appoint Foxtrant to assist the new Fate Church in the area, Arachnia decided this was an acceptable pairing for a daughter like Viyolia who would otherwise be unimportant to the line of succession. She had hoped the marriage would also prompt Xune to look for a partner but so far no luck.
Viyolia currently has no children of her own, though she was involved in the care of all of her younger siblings.

History

Because Viyolia is the third of Arachnia's children after she already had Amelica as a paladin and Xune moving towards the Priestesshood, Viyolia spent her life with less expectations and attention from her mother. For better or worst.
She was still raised with an intense pressure to remain loyal to the Lycoris family and follow her mother's orders unflinchingly.
These days Viyolia still frequently turns to Arachnia for support and insight in managing her own territory.

History

Viyolia was raised to view her eldest sister in high regard as the Paladin. Unlike Xune, who was incredibly close to Amelica their whole lives, she saw her sister much less.
After Oathbreaking, Viyolia seems to resent Amelica for the affect she's had on the family reputation.

Viyolia is close to none of her siblings in particular, though Xune makes frequent efforts to keep reaching out to Viyolia. She seems to resent Viyolia moving so far away.

History

Viyolia was often cruel to Malice when the two were younger. Considering Malice a defect in the Lycoris family. When the two got older, there was an incident where Malice lashed out at Viyolia, and while she was severely punished, Viyolia has been frightened by her since.
Since Malice has been proven useful, Viyolia has, at least on the surface, treated her better.

History

As common in her family, and culture, Viyolia did not treat Gwylyss with much warmth or attention as a child. In fact sometimes being rather cruel to him since he was another family member she had power over.
While this has somewhat changed other time, Viyolia was further away than the rest of the family by the time Gwylyss began his work for the family. So their opinions of each other haven't changed very much.
