Vampires
This species is both made and born by the will of Shezmu via the feast of his blood that flows through all vampires. Their progenitor is the first vampire, Empusa, who endowed the Second Generation with untold magical powers, and the vampires had then caroused the mortal kind into a moral ordered and structured society.
However, Empusa's children would not be without their faults and desires. A great many of the Second Generation desired her death and ascension to the leadership of the Cult of Shezmu, and at least 23 attempted to take her life. It was in a fit of unparalleled rage, as The Great Holy War and her lover Shezmu had perished, that she slaughtered the Prodigal Ones, those cursed 23 that attempted to take her life, along with the entirety of the corrupted Second Generation. She re-established herself as the reincarnation of Sheznu due to his blood living in her and her unparalleled power. She also decided to establish her kindred as a more organized race of people. She also established Vampiric as a language so her children could communicate in secret with one another.
It was after the creation of the Third Generation, that Empusa decided to divide her children into specialized tribes in order to fulfill several goals,
- The Draugr (Tribe of the Boar): Berserkers whose origin lies in Orcs that decided to become mercenaries instead of joining the Order of the Slayers.
- The Wallach (Tribe of the Dragon): Sorcerers and wizards that infiltrate various magical organizations to see how the mortal kine plan their own downfall, and they also test various alchemical and scientific theorem in the field along with the mortal kine. They have no qualms with mutating and torturing mortal kine to gather information for their masters.
- The Lamia (Tribe of the Snake): Courtesans and bards that, through seductive practice, uncover great secrets and general consensus from many amongst the mortal kine.
- The Leanan (Tribe of the Butterfly): Former Exile Elves,Servitor Races, and Beast Races that ensure the safety of forests from poachers and to protect them from areas where highly dangerous monsters dwell.
- The Vetala (Tribe of the Bat): Telepaths and diviners that hunt and haunt charnel grounds for secrets to uncover the revival of Shezmu and those vampires that have perished at the hands of vampire hunters.
- The Izulu (Tribe of the Hamerkop): Witchdoctors, shamans, and druids that serve a communal and priestly purpose to many within the Alian Empire.
- The Lamashtu (Tribe of the Lion): The first of the Third and the proudest of the Third, these vampiric knights weave their knowledge of blood magic with martial prowess. They often act as the secret police amongst their kindred that break the Blood Pact. They often hire out their honorable services to any mortal nation that can afford the extremely high cost of their armies. However, when one hires an army Lamashtu, it is almost guaranteed that they will succeed in battle due to their magical might. And any kine nation should expect a dark payment afterword along with a massive amount of coin.
