A beast is any creature that behaves in a manner similar to that expected of common animals dwelling in the Prime Material Plane. However, while animals are generally beasts, many beasts are not animals and can have highly abnormal origins or features.
Physically, beasts tend to resemble animals or at the very least, other natural wildlife.
