Valonian Ohun
Valonian Ohun is a Valonian province, encompossing the mountainsides of Grand Range and Iron Height, and the entirety of Hunan River, sharing the border with Valonian Kriton, Valonian Taestic, and Durin. Historically, this province is well known for smithing-focused culture, making Ohun one of the two provinces that control most of iron production of the empire; the others is Valonian Irgia.
Structure
The main Ohuna political power comes from two systems: The Smith Guild under the rule of Arch Smith. Operating on The High Workshop, the guild can decide any uses of the metals they produced. The others system was the King of Ohun who since has been dethroned and replaced with the Governor of Valonian.
History
The area was belong to the Kingdom of Ohun, whose the inhabitants, Ohuna, extracted and experted the knowledge of metalworking and metallurgy. Their smithing knowledge injected deep into their culture that all steels they produced were used on architecture rather then military.
There were annexed twice by two different yet related superpower. The first time was the Empire of Kritus in 785 BVE which last up to 200 BVE. The second time was the Valonia Empire in 32 VE, known in the Valonian office as the Iron Surplus Campaign.
I love the idea of a deep smithing culture, and I am glad they still retain some of that even though they are part of the empire now.
