Erron Boldensoul
Erron was one of the great Terrania heroes. He was a key part of the The Zurlandor Crisis while a member of The Fireheart Oath .
Very little is known of Erron's early life. What is known was he was born to a merchant family around 1480 AC in Tunesta, Ankerya . At some point he entered the service of the Central Committee of Treibya's House Guard. Seemingly most of his service has been scrubbed from the records. What can be inferred is Erron focused on espionage in service of the committee for most of this time. There is unconfirmed reports Erron was responsible for foiling multiple assassination attempts, rooted out an organization planning a coup of the central committee, and stopped an unknown entity from attempting to instigate a conflict between Toussaint and Ankerya. For these reasons, it is said many in the Committee dubbed Erron, The Invisible Shield of Ankerya, as most of his exploits went undocumented but were vital in protecting the stability of the confederation. It is also why when news of the pending The Zurlandor Crisis emerged, the committee called upon Erron first. His infiltration of Dark Sun 's cult was the catalyst in revealing the dangerousness of the situation and launching Ankerya into action. Erron was also responsible for helping create the The Fireheart Oath. He put aside his tumultuous yet passionate relationship with Cassandra Lionheart knowing her crew were the most adept for supporting the cause in the upcoming conflict with Dark Sun. While he would have never admitted it, he was most certainly the de facto leader of the Oath. It was in the final battle against Dark Sun, the Shield of Ankerya carried out his final duty. As the battle reached its climax, Erron knew Cassandra was resolute in being the one to sacrifice herself. While he had buried his still smoldering feelings for her deep in the most protected depths, he could not live life without her knowing he let her die. Seeing her take hold of the The Sol-Lance , he rushed toward her, snatching it away. As she went to grab it back, Erron sent her into a pocket domain. He looked back as she was sucked into the portal, her arm extending towards him, a single tear rolling down her face, screaming no. But he had made his decision and gave her a half-wave and semi smile as portal closed around her; then she was gone. With Dark Sun restrained, Erron used the Sol-Lance, destroying Dark Sun, the structure and himself. The Central Commitee erected a statue of Erron in the main plaza of their headquarters as recognition of his duty to Ankerya, and sacrifice for Terrania. Many folks committed to a life of duty and heroism pilgrimage to the statue. It was reported a single pristine rose was always seen at the foot of the statue. Nobody knew who placed it there, but after 1622 AC, the rose was never seen again.
