Foy Tigerstrike
Foy was one of the great Terrania heroes. She a key part of the The Zurlandor Crisis while a member of The Fireheart Oath .
Foy had little to no knowledge of her childhood other than appearing at the doorstep of an orphanage in Treblyla. Throughout her teenage years, she was tormented by constant, vivid dreaming. She felt completely lost within them, and it felt as if her dreams were consuming her. One night, during an especially difficult dream filled with destruction and terror, Foy rushed out of the city and into the wilderness. She wandered for days in a partial dream state, mostly unaware to her real-life surroundings. A hunting party found her in an obviously traumatized state, and unsure what to do with her, took her to one of the local Druid Groves of the Sidra Slopes. Over the next few days, the Druids used their magic rituals to help guide Foy's conscious back to the real world. From here, it was revealed to her that she was not just a human, but a Kalashtar. Foy, grateful for the Druids support, decided to stay in the Grove and follow the Path of the Land. A few years later she encountered the The Fireheart Oath . They had come to the Sidra Slopes Grove in need of help and information. Foy had dreamed this event during one of her prolonged stupors and knew her destiny was in front of her. She convinced the Arch-Druid to allow them to let her be the Oath's guide in the Desert. Her skills and knowledge of the Minonia Desert was a vitally important aspect to the Oath's success during the Crisis. In the final battle of the Crisis Foy's awakening saved the Oath. She took an especially hard hit, causing her to fly through the air, and down into the massive chasm below the Ziggurat. Partly unconscious, Foy accepted her end. But as she fell, her consciousness reached out into the ethereal plane. She could see the essence of all the previous Arch Druids of the Terrania reach out and suspend her freefall. They then breathed new life into her, filling her with swell of warm, fiery power. Utilizing this new power, she took the form of a massive Pheonix, flying out of the Chasm and towards Dark Sun . Seemingly appearing out of nowhere, her attacks on Dark Sun took them by surprise creating a moment of vulnerability. Weston Qwellmar seeing took a chance, and used the arcane to bound Dark Sun. Foy, completely drained, returned to her original form and dropped to the ground. Twilda Goldhammer was able to carry Foy to safety as Weston teleported them out of the Ziggurat leaving Erron Boldensoul to use the Sol-Lance and destroy Dark Sun. After the crisis, Foy returned to the Sidra Slopes Groves, where she lived out her remaining days. But it is said that Foy's spirit wasn't carried off by Kelemvor, God of Death , but instead passed into the dreamscape. Rumors abound that many Kalashtars will meet Foy there, and she shall shepherd them through their ordeals. As such many in Terrania consider her the patron of Kalashtars.
