Hochenmuth

Government

The city is managed by the Hochenmuth Burgmesiter; Grendal Ullirache and the five seat city council. The city is fairly autonomous but does fall under ruling jurisdiction of Perfume Bay.

Infrastructure

The most important aspect of Hochenmuth is its port. Many ships on their way to from the west towards Perfume Bay might stop before the last leg of the journey. It's also how the delicious Arn's Ale reaches out across the Primrose Coast.

Districts

The town is split by the Hochenmuth Stream. South of the stream is the urban part of the city, where most of the population lives and the dock resides. North of the stream is the agricultural area, with fields of wheat, a windmill and a small community of farmers.

Guilds and Factions

History

The area was originally a small military port during the Alessian Empire days. It was subsequently destroyed and abandoned during the Reinhart Coastal raids. The area was resettled in about 1246 AC as it became a stopping point for many smaller ships moving along the coast. It also grew in importance after the found and success the Arn's Brewery had in the 1590s.    Hochenmuth has been growing considerably in the last few decades. Many looking to escape the density and costly confines of Perfume Bay have been moving to Hochenmuth.
