Lathander's presence can be found in almost every aspect of life. His temples known as the Dawnhalls are central to many cities and their people. But outside of his temples you can see his influence. Every hospital has a shrine dedicated to him, as every mother wishes their child be born in his presence, so they may gain his blessing. His shrines appear in every graveyard, as he ensures our departure from this mortal coil is smooth and safe. The cycle of life is sacred and for that reason he is eternal bound to Kelevmor. Lathander encourages us to make the most of our time. We should endeavor to live good, clean lives, filled with love, happiness, creation, and health. Worshippers of Lathander (The Soleilnee) vehemently fight against any power that seeks to disrupt this cycle. Necromancy is the ultimate sin. Therefore, the clerics and paladins of Lathander often spend in service of the search for the vile acts, and to end them. The Great Paladin Order of the Clarus Oriens headquartered in Cordiboya, Madrinada might be Necromancy’s strongest and most resolute foe.

Lore

Lathander arrived to our world alongside his sisters; Selune and Shar to rule the skies and in-between. He and Selune rotate Terrania, watching over it, while Shar fills the space between. The three of them act as sentinels, shielding us from the outside with the goal of ensuring humanities existence continues. His affair with Sune birthed Lliira and Milil into our world. But saddened by the deception of Shar, and loss of Sune, Lathander reaffirmed himself to his duty; pulling back from Humanity. This unfortuantely allowed the conditions for the Condemned Gods to strike down Lathander during the Shattering. But as the God of Renewal, Lathander was able to become reborn anew, and lead the final strike against the evil deities.
