Caretaker

Father of Nature

The Caretaker, a vital Titan of Tethys, was a beacon of nurturing and sustenance before the onset of the Titan War. Infused with the Life Spark energies, he presided over the seas and oceans, sculpting them as cradles of life. His work complemented that of the Great Mother, who was in charge of the lands. The influence of the Caretaker can still be felt in many mystical maritime locations that bear the touch of his diligent craft.   When the Titan War erupted, the Caretaker remained mostly aloof, his involvement minimal. The magnitude of destruction and loss inflicted by the war disturbed him deeply, causing him to retreat from the conflict. The First Gods' wrath passed him by, allowing him to survive. Rumors persist that he and the Great Mother are hidden deep within Tethys' oceans, evading the notice of both Gods and mortals.   In addition to his stewardship over the seas, the Caretaker is often linked with the creation of the Fey Elves, or Eldarin. Inspired by the creation of the Elves by the Elder, another Titan, the Caretaker sought a race he could call his own. Thus, the Fey Elves were born - beings deeply in tune with nature and its cycles. These fey creatures, reflecting the Caretaker's love for the natural world, perpetuate his legacy within the world of Tethys, embodying his spirit of nurturing and care.
