Eris

As a part of the Trinity, Eris brings balance between her sister Valena and brother Ilios, as one seeks to bring new life and the other seeks bloodshed.

History

Over the history of Tethys, Eris would show up rarely, only in times when divine judgment was needed. One such occasion was when the ruler of Tessalia, during the Third Age, Kingdoms became known as the most corrupt king of all, however, once he made an oath to the gods that he broke the next night, trying to rape a woman of a noble he promised to protect, his body turned to black ash.

Dogma

  • Those weaker than you will seek your judgment. Bring justice.
  • Only one side can speak the truth, while the other can only in halves. Seek the unbiased version of events.
  • Corruption and emotion bring a bias, expel it, as only without you can make a judgment call.
  • Relationships with other Gods

Eris is mostly seen as the mediator goddess, many seek her counsel to settle a dispute between two factions. During wars, that doesn't touch her family, she would stand on the sidelines, allowing other gods to approach her. Gods of Chaos are her main enemies as those that do not obey the law, bring only destruction and break oaths are those that must be destroyed. She worked closely with Malachtar, even after he stole her Portfolio of Law but it ended with his death. She didn't regain the portfolio and the new god, Blind Judge was neither her friend nor foe, making the relationship nonexistent.
