Ishmaatar

Many of the Fire Genasi were slaves to the Trondheim as well as there were tribes of Fire Genasi in the southern deserts of the Old World. After the Fourth Age, The Calamity, many of these groups were on the brink of extinction. The Fire Giants relieved their slaves, seeing them as another mouth to feed in trying times, while the tribes would wander the deserts looking for food. Over time, they found themselves between the Nar'Atar Mountains and Crescent of Asta Mountains. At first, they worked as bandits, stealing and robbing people in the Burkan Valley (or the Lava Valley to some) as many merchants tried to restart old trade routes from the north to the Great Pasch Desert. It wasn't until The Second Divergence that something changed. A great leader Isfael had come of age and he began reuniting the tribes. Under his banner, the banditry stopped and simple trade customs were established. Robbery and theft were outlawed and soon a nation was formed. They rebuild old Seljuk fortresses in the valley and four decades after Isfael they are a true country. There are rumors of a war starting with the Djun as the Seljuk do not like to be opposed in terms of trade at their borders, however, the genasi hold many powerful fortresses in the valley. The war might not be profitable enough.
