Jade Emperor

The supreme god of all dragons or at least that's what his followers what you to believe. The Jade Emperor's influence can be felt everywhere but mostly in the Jadeite Empire, where his law is absolute and most of the dragon race resides. Those that follow his teachings are mostly tyrants, despots but sometimes just harsh people, who see the world differently.

History

Long ago, Jade Emperor and Gilded Hand were the best friends and allies. This all changed during the Elder War where the Jade Emperor sought out to become the god of "timeless races" and that dragons are far superior to elves. The war was brutal and both sides received massive causalities. The Gilded Hand wanted to stop this rampage but was denied by the Jade Emperor, then he struck his once friend, almost killing the Emperor. He wanted to forgive his friend for the anger but needed time to heal, in time he learned that his ex-friend conspired against him with the Wise One, the ruler of elves and once sworn enemy. The Jade Emperor wanted to test the Gilded Hand once again and the Dragonswar started. To his dismay, the Gilded Hand not only refused to join his friend but instead formed an alliance with the elves, forging the Elder Pantheon. Furious and in need of allies, the Jade Emperor plotted on his own, in time creating the Chromatic Alliance and helping in the (unsuccessful) assassination of the Wise One. After the Fourth Age, The Calamity, the Jade Emperor rebuilds his once glorious Jadeite Empire, hoping for a revenge best served cold. The Jade Emperor is seen as the creator of the Dragonborn race, while the story might omit the help of the Gilded Hand, almost all treat him as the sole creator, who gathered the blood of many dragons, combined it with his own while empowering it to create the first Dragonborn called Born of Dragons during the Second Age, Godswar.

His main enemy is the Gilded Hand as he betrayed his trust and friendship long ago. The Elder Pantheon as an extension of this hatred. His allies lie in the Chromatic Alliance but he feels that they are mere tools to his plots than real allies and friends.
