Luvic
Luvic is said to be shrewd Half-Elf (Gold/High Elf) that became an Immortal due to unknown means. Many believe (as this is something he himself tells others) that it must be due to his blood. His gift for sorcery showed up at an early age when he lived with his parents. They were very fearful of his gift, so they put him up for adoption. Nobody came for Luvic, so they abandoned him. He doesn't know what happened to them as both would die of old age long ago. Over time he learned how to use his gift and by age thirty he was unable to see any signs of aging. He returned to the Old World during the Fourth Age, The Calamity and settled in the Riverlands, however, at that time he was uninterested in politics and secluded himself in his tower for many decades, some believe that it was centuries, others want to believe that after couple of decades he was what the Demon King was doing and wanted to act, but only in secret. His first ally was Ysvel an Adult Silver Dragon, who helped him in this task and was instrumental in finding and preparing mortals for a coup. They tried many times but failed, until the coming of adventurers known now as the Demonslayers. Uniting them against a common cause, they were able to surmount an attack against the Demon King and be victorious (but not with casualties). Only three people survived out of twelve. Malcovin was found later to be alive but as an undead - a Vampire. Christobal took over Mathras and ruled over the empire until his death, his successors are his descendants. Luvic, on the other hand, took over, after many discussions, the country of Isila that just gained its independence. When Christobal's grandsonĀ stopped being the emperor, Luvic worked to complete the promises his friend made to him about Isila. Many such promises are yet to be accomplished as they are now known as Chirstobal Promises - a political quagmire. Isila and Mathras went to war over them many times. Luvic is relentless over them, even centuries later. His advisors whisper that it is time for Isila to take over, seeing the empire is crumbling and barely can be called an empire. Torn in political disputes that he never wanted, Luvic's decision, after carefully arranged ceasefire, might change the Riverlands forever.
