Magitech

Magitech was pretty common at the end of the Third Age, Kingdoms. When The Calamity hit, most of it was lost. What survived was thanks to entrepreneurial folk like the gnomes. In the Fifth Age, Current Age, almost all Magitech technology comes from the city of Quadropolis. This ancient gnomish city takes very good care of its secrets and doesn't share it with everyone. However, you can find it almost everywhere in major cities. The Airships are the most common type of Magitech on Tethys.

First World Theory

First Worlders would speak about a different tale of Magitech. That it came with the Actuvians and it was a powerful weapon, instead of force for good. One of the examples would be the Magitech Bomb capable of turning a major city to a crater. As such it was forever regarded as too dangerous and only certain individuals would risk their lives to study it. Over time, a similar city of gnomes, also called Quadropoli, would create their own technological advancements and with it Gnomish Technology and started to build magical airships. Many say that their pursuit was what led them to become Mechagnomes.
