Cathedral of the Stand

The CATHEDRAL OF THE BLESSED STAND is the political and spiritual center of the Church of the Divine Triune in Auredain. The Cathedral is located off the Path of Return—a major thoroughfare through the heart of Heraldsport. The Cathedral is the centerpiece of the Church’s placement within Heraldsport and the kingdom at large. It is from here that the Archprelate conducts services for all of Heraldsport to bear witness—although only sworn nobility and the royal family are allowed at the once-weekly Throne services conducted personally by the Archprelate. The remainder of the services, which are conducted on a regular schedule each and every day, have a rotating cast of officiants and clergy.

The Cathedral is composed of the center structure containing the nave, worship areas, halls of shrines as well as small classrooms, prayer cells and other various amenities. The Cathedral itself has two wings on its sides. The right-hand wing contains barracks, prayer cells, teaching halls, libraries and many other resources for indoctrinating the new novitiates and worshipping the Triune. The left-hand wing, when stepping out the front double-doors, is primarily for conducting the business of the Church. This wing has numerous offices for clerical functionaries of all types. Everything from reading field reports from crusaders to financial matters and political influence work is conducted within this wing. It is here that Archprelate and the ministers of various responsibilities attend to their duties.
