The Northern Palatine Kingdom is a prosperous and influential realm located in the northern territories of the Palatine Forest , sharing its borders with the Southen Kingdom , the Queendom of Ilisha to the west, and the lands of Alraya to the north. The kingdom is renowned for its wealth and power, surpassing that of its southern counterpart.

Geography

The kingdom is based along the Ololen river, which flows southward from Lake Sharic. The expansive Palatine Forest is divided into several smaller territories: the Miaxina Forest to the east, the Shamenor Woods in the south, and the Thasinia Woodlands in the west. These forested regions are the heart of the kingdom, providing both resources and protection.

Population

The Northern Palatine Kingdom is predominantly inhabited by forest dwellers, with the majority of the population being wood elves . Additionally, there is a significant number of Firbolgs and Gnomes , contributing to the kingdom's diverse cultural and societal landscape.

Government

The kingdom is ruled by the Palatine King , a hereditary monarch whose lineage has governed the land for generations. The monarchy maintains control over the various territories within the forest, ensuring stability and prosperity through a centralized rule.

Religion

The people of the Northern Palatine Kingdom primarily worship The Earthflow and The Silent Ocean, reflecting their deep connection to nature and the mystical elements of their environment. However, freedom of worship is allowed throughout the country, accommodating the diverse spiritual beliefs of its inhabitants.

The Palatine Kingdom is founded by elven settelers from Quel'Lutaan.

137ca - South declares independence

The southen region of the country delcears independence becoming the Southen Palatine Kingdom. The Palatine king does not recognise the declaration.
