The Hunter Association
The ruthless hunters in search for "Good."
The Hunter Association (THA) is an organization for "Good." They operate under the same core principles as previous Associations. Based in the same location as their predecessor, Associated Nature. THA, however, takes a much more chaotic and aggressive approach. Started in 1962 by Her. It is unclear whether internally they have more structure, but as far as it seems, as long as there is precedent for an action it will likely go unquestioned. There is a top level tribunal for determining whether actions are good or evil, with a final say from Her. The core differentiator of this Association from previous is their aggressive nature. Instead of passively responding to the events of the world, this organization rewards proactive, violent, and relentless devotion to taking out "Evil."
Clout and authority within this organization are determined by reputation, the longer an Associate's been around, the more "Good" they've done, the more influence they have. Although the organization is chaotic, nothing goes unrecorded, everything the organization or any Associate of THA has done is recorded and referenced.
The major successes THA are known for are the following:
- Dismantling The Bureau of Wrongfulgenics by killing their leader: Lady Miriam
- Initiating the public facing organization: Heroes United
- Gaining Trust across major Human organizations, and making their actions more publically known
Structure
The Hunter Association has no clearly defined structure but there are major groups within it that all contribute to the core goals of the organization. The only enforced structure is of Her at the top and the Tribunal below Her.
Culture
The Hunter Association has a culture of chaos. Individuals and groups within the THA have full autonomy on how they preform good. She has final say on what is considered good or evil, however, as long as there's precedent for an Associate or groups' actions, their deeds are usually not questioned.
Public Agenda
The Association perscripts good at any cost. Although publically, they have a much kinder agenda. "Good will find a way" being their moto, they have public facing "Heroes" who tend to do the more PC activities. This includes saving people from burning builidngs, stopping environmental disasters, and freeing trapped civilians.
Assets
The level of assets controlled by THA are not obvious to the public. THA has a comparable level of power and control over raw materials, services, and contractors as His Bureau. Their speciality, however, is in human assets. Allow them to intercept and control very powrful organizations. See: The Department of Energy, The Cardians, and Heroes United.
Unlike His Bureau, they're relationship and presentation of Good allows for a clear path towards integration with Human society. The majority of their assets are not taken by force but trust.
History
THA is the most recent iteration of The Association. Active since 1962, THA took a very different approach than previous iterations. She established Good could have no "plan" and their core values were established to follow this mindset. Quickly building a reputation across different world organizations, THA became well known amonsgt Human Elites. Eventually establishing subgroups such as Heroes United, their influence over the last 60 years has grown. Although the general public is not aware of THA to the same extent as their more public facing subsidiaries, THA is not kept as secret as past Association iterations have.
