Grien Laughingmeadow (GRAIN)

Grien was widely considered the most powerful warlock in the Host of Selephise and a preeminent figure in the history of the deviant profession generally. Notably, he was part of the contingent led by Vasaeon Hejiq that succeeded in summoning Xa'aroch and the rest of the Azgorach Horde thereafter. He was known as being as unhinged as he was powerful and his unpredictability caused problems for both sides during the War of the Six, especially due to his penchant for and skill in disguise and illusions.   He was of mixed faun and eova heritage, which gave rise to many nicknames, including "the imp of the black swamp" and "the black goat". He was assumed to have perished in the Widow's Siege following the release of the Plague of the Bitter Hand.   He is rumored to have been trained by Yso Moroketu; there is debate over whether Yso detected any of Grien's inclinations toward shadow-work, but general agreement that if Grien was their apprentice for a time, it was as an Uon practitioner.
