Hyinat, Currency (HIGH-in-AHT)

The hyinat is a base currency used predominantly by Ustraria and Iyr, and up until the War of the Six was accepted in Unenshuut; during the war Unenshuut would not accept it, but post-war is beginning to accept it again.
The hyinat, as with its derivatives, is a square coin of 1" with a central 0.25" hole. It is rose-gold in color and minted from refined ore of the same name. As a reflection of its status as the official Iyrian and Ustrarian currency, all forms of hyinat are also printed with scales (for the Great Sky Drake) on one side and stars (for the Earthborn Star) on the other. Its abbreviation is 'hy'.
One hyinat can buy a basic meal at an average inn; ten hyinat can buy a decent bed at an average inn for a night.
