Prince of Sidere

The ruler of The City Sidere, and by extension the entire Hollow, is known as its Prince. (Even its female founder, Aridatha, used the masculine.)

Appointment

It falls to each Prince to appoint a successor; if one fails to do so, their successor shall be chosen by The Royal Court if necessary. Gibralt, the current Prince, has not nominated a successor.

History

Aridatha did not invent the title of "Prince" herself; it was bestowed upon her by Lioska, who felt that the nascent City Sidere would need a strong leader.
