The Royal Court

The Royal Court is one of two groups that together rule The City Sidere and therefore The Hollow as a whole. The other is the Court of Alders.
Whereas the Alders are elected more or less democratically, members of the Royal Court are appointed by the Prince of Sidere and the city's guilds and organizations. Thus, the Royal Court tends to be less sensitive to popular opinion than the Court of Alders.
