Wanderer

Though he presents himself as a soft, hedonistic creature who wishes only to lounge on silk pillows all day, Wanderer's lazy facade hides a mind keener than any blade. He needs that, as well as silver tongue, to maintain his position as the alder of Ravenbarrow. No one has held this office longer than Wanderer, and most of his predecessors departed violently.
Ravenbarrow presents its alder with the particular challenge of balancing its inhabitants' lawlessness against the demands of the Prince and the City Guard -- not to mention managing all the strong personalities and menaces of Ravenbarrow's own inhabitants. Wanderer navigates these troubled waters with deceptive ease, making the act of balancing on a knife's edge look like a cakewalk.
