The indefinite containment of the most dangerous extra-planar beings that would otherwise threaten the realm.

Architecture

The Ziggurats are pyramidal in shape and made entirely of smoothed obsidian on the outside. Inside, they are a maze of bridges, stairs, and halls lined with small jet-black Binding Prisms - each one engraved with the names of the individuals responsible for ensuring the extraplanar being within is sealed away.
