Ēdwhâ's parents had high expectations for her when she enrolled in the Caeladonian School of Healing, though despite her skill a simple doctor's salary wasn't a lofty enough goal for her. She found herself joining up with what would become Fortune Networks when they started looking for a professional healer due to the increasing danger they were getting into as treasure hunters.
She stayed with them as they were hired by Thaler to perform several high-profile heists and ultimately foil Thaler's plans. Not only did she make it out the other side with an obscene fortune, she also ended up with his Dark Artifact the cloak Nowhere.
As a founding member of Fortune Networks she finally became a "real" doctor as she was in charge of the division of the company that runs their clinics. Though the clinics themselves true purpose is medical stations for any agents of the company harmed in the process of illicit actions.
Her time at the clinics had her come into first hand contact with the first victims of The Wandering Plague and took Drake with her to investigate the source at Garen's Well. There she was joined by Aien Yinvyre, Jakki, Bhato Va'Losh, and Neville.
