Aien Yinvyre
Raised in Arcadia as an orphan the young Aien met Aria Luxord when they were children. Despite their wildly different upbringings, they became fast friends with Aria constantly having to patch him up from the scraps he would get into to impress her. Aien spent most of his teenage years trying to come up with various schemes to get rich in an attempt to feel like he would be "worth" Aria's affection.
This led to him and Aria gathering another childhood friend Stanveth Heartwisk, along with later adding Tanerius Callahan, and Ēdwhâ Qhēnnueigh; the people who would found Fortune Networks to try and hunt down legendary treasures. This led them down a series of heists for Thaler in exchange for an obscene amount of money. This ended with them foiling Thaler's plots and a unique opportunity to seize many of the assets of the collapsing Waterfront Industries. During those same events Aien found that his long lost father was none other than the Godkiller Jakki who fathered him during his time founding the Time Squad and got his one time enemy Drake to join him as his personal enforcer.
The adventure brought him and Aria much closer and so as they moved their official company to Haven they got married. They continued looking to expand their operation with Aria traveling to Iocrias for that purpose. While she was gone Aien continued supporting Fortune Networks and keeping an eye on major world events, which led to him and his father assisting Ēdwhâ Qhēnnueigh, Drake, Bhato Va'Losh, and Neville in stopping The Wandering Plague at Garen's Well.
He only saw his wife one more time during her short return to Haven before she sacrificed herself to save her adopted daughter Whis Luxord and ascended to Godhood. When Whis was brought back to Haven Aien accepted her as his daughter right away wanting nothing more than to honor his late wife's wishes.
Over the years he went from wanting to shelter his daughter from the nastier parts of his work to accepting her desire to join the family business. He allowed her to go to The Coil on behalf of Fortune Networks to start setting up connections there and had supported her mission there.
During the training of his grandchildren Mercury Luxord-Vlatson and Sona Luxord-Vlatson, Mercury tricked him and had him held in the underground of a reconstructed Crow's Fort so that he could have access to Fortune Networks technology. What the young man didn't expect, however, were vampires hiding in the old tunnels that led to the man's demise.
