Countess Ellen married Count Roderick in 476 after he successfully courted her hand from King Uther, who had wardship of her. Sir Blaines of Levcomagus had also sought her hands, and has been a rival of Roderick ever since. She two children: a daughter Jenna, born 476, and a son Robert, born 484.
She now rules Salisbury as steward until Robert comes of age.
