Session 3 - Headaches
General Summary
Gororoth experienced headaches in the fishmongers market. He met a young aarakocora named Slazrus who politely asked many questions. His headache subsided later when Berov took him to the New Frontier's Guildhall in Scholar's Forum.
Berov met with Aishwarya Gloomhooves, the Storyteller of the New Frontiers Guild. Storyteller Aishwarya told Berov about the Declaration of Expungement and the Night of Proclamation. That was the night when Orion Dragovic's parents were executed and the Illimine Aufklarung was burned. She agreed that Gorgoroth could stay in the guildhall, but warned Berov to make sure he knew what he was getting into. She also asured Berov that she would pass on any information she receives about his missing grandfather, Drindov.
Red and S'thom investigated the fishmonger's area and helped the elderly owners of the Little Stinker clean up the mess left behind after the cockatrice attack. They mentioned that Marshal left a message: he would wait for them at the Point. Red tossed the dead cockatrice in the trash and let the living cockatrice be since it was calm in a crate.
The pair ventured into the Bazaar to find a ship captain or someone who knew something about sailing. They wandered into the Bottomless Chug AKA the Giant's Privvy AKA the Whirlpool Tavern, where a charismatic sailor told a tall tale about Captain Uglymug's sailing skills. Later, outside the Whirlpool Red introduced himself to a trio of unimpressed sailors and asked about ships carrying cockatrice. They failed to come to a business arrangement but learned that ships typically only stop in every few months, as they have to follow the currents. The next natural stop north of New Frontier is Woodhill, an area Red and S'thom have heard of but never visited.
As Berov showed Gorgoroth the local sights, Gorgoroth's headaches returned. He thought they may be tied to the fishmonger's area, but it persisted even after walking into the heart of the Bazaar. After running into Red and S'thom, the group decided to head back to the guildhall for a good night's rest.
Along the way, S'thom and Red remembered the candles that were shipped along with the cockatrice and vowed to investigate them in the morning.
