Zui Liang System

The Zui Liang System, rarely referred to as the Yuanjing System, is the capital system of the Democratic Republic of Yuanjing and the birthplace of the Stelsoc movement. Located in the Hawker Nebula within the Pariah Sector, the Democratic Republic of Yuanjing is a very populous and one of the most heavily industrialized systems in the whole of the Sector, having become so through a sustained period of growth in the closing days, and following the end of the Long Night, making it also one of the more diverse worlds in the Sector.

A Blue Supergiant, the brightest and largest star in the Pariah Sector Zui Liang is the jewel of Yuanjing. It has also attracted immigrants on a galactic scale, having captured three separate wandering worlds and incorporating them into the star system.

8.9 Jintao

Jintao was a wandering world captured by Zui Liang at some point in the past. Now it is home to a Yuanjing research installation, which is seeking to understand some of the finer points of orbital mechanics, and, according to certain rumors, the physical movement of planet's orbital trajectories.

One of the more successful colony worlds of the Zui Liang System, Wenyuan is home to a planetary ocean which is thoroughly polluted from centuries of overproduction, and billions of years as a free floating world, unable to properly develop life. It is a project world of Yuanjing, seeking to restore its atmosphere to health.

Mao de Jiaoao, the capital of the system is a modest, industrial world, and a surprisingly small world for the heart of one of the most powerful states in civilized space. It is, comparatively speaking, only modestly polluted, with efforts underway to repair this damage. Mao de Jiaoao is host to a few international organizations that secure trade and friendship among member states and member systems of the Stelsoc movement.

The second most populous world in the system, and Mao de Jiaoao's only moon, Qing, is seen as something of a paradise world with a pleasant climate, an entirely breathable atmosphere, and sanctuaries for much of the planet's wildlife. Life here is sought after by those living on poorer worlds, though available homes are few.
