Selune

Selune, also known as the "Moonmaiden," "Friend to Woman," and "She who Guides," is a Deity worshipped by some Humans indigenous to The New World. A member of the Archaean Pantheon, she is a goddess of beauty, fertility, and wisdom. Selune is held to have three aspects, the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, who are associated with the Red, Brown, and Grey Moons, respectively. Signs of her worship in the New World were first discovered on 2/1/214 by Iskender, Petra, Vadim, and Walter.

Selune's chief Temple was located on the coast of the Great Sea north of Gatefall, but was razed by followers of Zarus during the Archaean Civil War. The sapient blade known as Need, however, remained among the Temple's ruins until it was recovered by Petra Wagner on 2/22/214.
