Steel Hawk

Steel Hawks are a species of Monster native to The New World which are similar in appearance to Old World hawks or falcons. They are easily distinguished by the blood-red feathers on their backs, which fade to a pinkish-brown around the belly. Unlike other birds of prey, Steel Hawks live and hunt in flocks. They are friendly toward Harpies, who use them as scouts and guard animals, but highly aggressive toward most other Races.

Steel Hawks were discovered on 10/17/213 by Nilivander and Sigrid Steel, who gave them their name, along with Petra, Shepherd, Stigr, and Walter. Their feathers are a useful Resource for Crafting and have an alchemical affinity for Air.
