Eos was born and raised in
Erda on
Ambrosia. To everyone that met her, she was smart, promiscuous and destined for great things. But for the most part, she enjoyed slipping through the cracks, never quite meeting up to those great expectations.
At the age of twenty-three, Eos awoke as Sailor Polyxo - a shock to everyone including herself as this is regarded as unusally late to come into senshi powers, most doing so in their teens. But, just like many things in life, Eos took this in stride.
Through her position as Sailor Polyxo, Eos met
Otrera, Empress of the
Atlantean Empire and for many years served as Otrera's eyes and ears out in the world. However, after a certain amount of time, her face became better known and she was forced to retire from her career as a spy.
She became a scholar instead. Already intuitive when it came to dealing with other people, her time mixing amongst various groups gave her insight into the way people behave. So she wrote papers and books - under a pseudonym - and soon revered as an expert in her field.
Eos received a basic education in a no-name primary school and run of the mill secondary school. Whilst she certainly had the capability to pursue further education, she elected not to do so.
Eos' first job was in customer service, which she was quite good at, being a people person but she largely found it unfulfiling. Then, aged twenty-three, she awoke as Sailor Polyxo and some interesting doors were opened. Whilst she took on the role and wasn't afraid to use it, she elected not to work under the Senshi Council.
Instead, she took up a different offer; spy for the Empress. For decades, Eos would move into a community and spend a few years settling in, getting to know the people, learn their views on the Empire and its policies, before moving away and on. Sometimes she was required to go undercover and investigate those with nerfarious motives but for the most part she interacted with regular civilians - the Empress wanting to know how her people really felt.
Unfortunately, due to being Sailor Polyxo, Eos' face started to become known amongst the people she was 'spying' on, making her less useful. So she retired as a spy.
And became a scholar instead.
Using her years of experience studying people, Eos wrote a book. And then another one. Followed by a few academic papers, just to prove she could. And then a few more books. And before she knew it, she was a revered expert in her field - though it was all under a pseudonym. She found this hilarious. And was actually humbled by it.
Currently, Eos spends most of her time travelling - sometimes giving talks on her work and sometimes acting as a consultant on behaviour for various organisations.
Has published several books and papers on human behaviour, psychology and interrogation, amongst othe things on similar lines.

History
Eos and Serene met through both being senshi in the Atlas System. Centuries of their paths crossing and their working together formed a friendship between them. For most of this time, there was never anything sexual about their relationship; Eos was attracted to Serene but had never received indication that the feeling was mutual, so chose not to act upon that attraction; Serene, being demisexual, wasn't attracted to Eos until suddenly she was. Neither was interested in a romantic relationship and whilst Eos had something of a reputation for being promiscuous, she never settled into 'serious' relationships with any of her sexual partners.
So, for a long time, their mutual attraction was largely ignored.
Until they got completely shit-faced drunk one night and ended up hooking up.
To say the morning after was awkward would be an understatement. Fortunately, Eos at least had the emotional maturity to force Serene into a conversation. And after realising that there was a mutual attraction and that neither was after a romantic relationship with the other - more than happy with staying friends - they entered into the hazy territory of friends with benefits.
And it worked remarkably well. For the most part, their friendship hasn't changed. They just periodically meet up and have sex.
