For someone to become Sailor Aethra, they must possess the Aethra starseed.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The title of Sailor Aethra can only pass onto a new bearer when the old one dies.

History

The current Sailor Aethra, Otrera, has held the position for centuries. She fought in the Fall of Lethe and helped found the The Pleiadian Alliance. She also present at the Burning of Asahla.
