God of Thievery

Mask is the intermediate god of shadows, thievery, and loners. He is often associated with those of ill-repute, and his symbol is a black mask made of velvet, tainted with red.

Mask's followers are typically those who feel marginalized by society, such as thieves, assassins, and spies. He is also worshiped by those who value secrets and the power that comes with hidden knowledge.

The clerics of Mask are known as Nightbringers, and they operate as spies, assassins, and thieves. They often wear black masks and maintain a secretive, insular order. They seek to acquire knowledge and secrets to use as leverage over others, and they are known to possess the ability to manipulate shadows.  

Rituals and prayers

The worship of Mask involves secret rituals held under the cover of darkness. Worshippers offer sacrifices of stolen goods and perform acts of thievery and assassination in Mask's name. Mask is rumored to reside in a tower of Shadow located somewhere in The Shadowfell, and some of his followers seek to visit this realm in order to gain power and knowledge.
