The Emerald Enclave

Summary

The Emerald Enclave is an organization of druids and other nature worshipers that live in the village of Ilsanor. The Emerald Enclave leads Ilsanor in all aspects, but also aims to protect the Sacred Forest of Ilsanor. Its members avoid concepts of good and evil and instead choose to focus on the needs of the natural world. Despite their primary goal of preserving nature, members are not direct opponents of progress, though there are sometimes exceptions.

Goals

The goals of the Enclave are six-fold:

1. Preserve nature in all its forms
2. Control Human expansion
3. Recognize that nature encompasses more than just forests
4. Agree that magic should not be used for mass destruction
5. Warn against the use of magic on a grand scale for fear of unexpected side effects
6. Present a united front to the outside world.

All members of the Enclave are taught the unique language – "druidspeak", that has some similarities to thieves' cant. "Druidspeak" is never taught to outsiders and it usually takes a year or more to learn it.

Notable Members

Lady Shadowmoon, Pontifex of the Emerald Enclave, is the one responsible for screening any visitors that wish to enter Ilsanor.

Ashenford Torinbow, Grand Cabal of the Enclave, is the leader of the Emerald Enclave.

Shinthala Deepcrest, Elder of the Enclave, is a highly respected member of the Enclave.
