The cabin was granted to the party through a magical deed, and its enchanted nature allows Abraxis full control over its structure and access. The cabin is a refuge amidst the dark, foggy woods, with a wooden fence surrounding the property, allowing Abraxis to decide who may enter and who is kept out.
