Seas of Steel: Mythos 1.3

This conflict was specifically manufactured for the Tale Foundry channel: in the overall scheme of things, it is at most a small, regional facet of a global conflict. It is part of the Unification Cycle of the Seas of Steel, a mythos that details the reunification of the archipelago into a new empire under one ruler. It details the decline and fall of the Empire of Ironfoot all the way up to the eventual rise of the Federation of Island Provinces .   However, that doesn't matter right now: right now the Kingdom of Colren controls the seas and the Federation is only a distant second place. The once-powerful Democracy of Mitrand has committed an act of war and Colren is preparing an invasion.   The Grand Master of the naval military Order of Aeramen, Theresa Mari Benicius, must develop a counter for the Mitrandin land superiority, and she has decided to pursue the magisters, a rumored group of superpowered mages. Almost everyone still believes they're just a legend, but they actually do exist, and they have all the powers that they were described as having. However, the power, which draws on extreme luck, has a terrible cost: it must be balanced. And to keep the balance, luck must be drawn from other islands, from other creatures, which will cause widespread destruction, famine, and death. The Society of Magisters, claiming to be just a strategic studies institute, must keep their terrible secret, with deployment commencing in one week. And they are willing to murder, kidnap, and extort to do so.
