Jarl Jyrik Magnersson (a.k.a. The Jarl)
Jarl Jyrik , was born into a poor family in Falkenberg with little reknown. He rose to prominance during the Stormcloak Revolution His large stature, a benefit of toiling in the fields and forrests, was well utilised during the early days of the rebellion. When the rebellion expected some fisticuffs, or needed a Draken Empire soldier beaten black and blue, there are rumours Jarl Jyrik was called for.
Ambush on the Syssleback pass Jyrik was selected for the ambush on syssleback pass, due to his loyalty, tenacity and ferociousness on the battlefield, this was seen as one of the major victories in the Stormcloak Revolution Battle of Balgie Bridge After the successful ambush , Stormcloak forces converged at the Balgie bridge. Jyrik was heavily wounded in the battle . When the tide turned Jyrik was on the Bridge, and he was almost crushed by advancing Draken Empire forces.
My dad told me Jarl Jyrik once ripped a Draken Legate's head clean off of his body, with his bare hands.... Have you seen the size of them. His palm is the size of a plate!Since the end of the revoution and his appointment to Jarl of Falkenberg by King of the Daoine Branaugh Flachnàn , he has tried to improve the life the people around him and can usually be found walking the hold talking to farmers and sharing their concerns. (Even with his bad leg, he continues to walk to see people on a daily basis) He was the main driving force for the construction of Falkenberg Dry Dock and is encouraging the growing population of Falkenberg to make use of the Sea(Young Boy from Falkenberg)
The Life of Jyrik Magnersson

The story goes, that Jyrik Magnersson managed to drag 3 shields from his fallen companions to cover most of his body. This was most likely to protect himself, but additionaly hide .The Draken Empire
After the battle he was discovered by Draken footmen and unusually taken prisoner.
at his time had built up a well deserved reputation for having no mercy, butchering wounded foes. This is undoubtedly what saved Jyriks life, but unfortunately cost him the use of his leg.

Reeling after the death of Legate Nyx Taran but spurred on by the victory at the Battle of Balgie Bridge , Draken Empire forces took a number of prisoners for public execution . This was most unusual, and historians muse the decisions behind this.
We will never know for sure but perhaps this was a move to further subdue the "pro Stormcloak Rebellion " populace of Stornoway , or to boost Draken Empire morale and cement Praefectus Servius, as a candidate for the next Legate
He was incarcerated inJorrvaskr Jail until the end of theStormcloak Revolution whereby the Draken Empire was driven away from the Skellige Islands He was from Falkenberg before the revolution , so King of the Daoine Branaugh Flachnàn saw fit that Jyrik was instated as it's Jarl .
He is open , and honest with the party. He frequently has a couple of guards with him, most loyal of all is [ , and Jyrik can usually be found walking the twon talking to farmers and traders, sharing their concerns.
