Mithril has a complex character, moving seamlessly from quiet bystander to active participant to leader of a revolution in one fell swoop, then back again to invisible, apparently disinterested introvert. Her self-indulgent nature makes her full on or full off - she doesn’t do shades of grey. Mithril is at her best in times of crisis and challenge but will have little appetite for follow-through, as she is always looking for a new, complex challenge. She is self-sufficient and very independent, only really happy when undertaking some risky or interesting activity. Her personality type displays coolness under pressure, which helps get things fixed, but does not endear her to those around her - even to those for whom she’s fixed something.
She makes a habit of flitting in and out of social situations, swooping down to interact briefly with others before quickly flying off to resume her private life. Usually unassertive and aloof, Mithril retreats at the first signs of a confrontation to seek comfort in her personal space. It isn’t that she is spineless, but it is easier to go along to get along. She is able to cut to the chase with no preamble or discussion with others, spontaneously grasping the nettle, often to the surprise of those who had mistakenly viewed her as a peripheral player.
Mithril likes and needs to spend time alone because this is when she can sort things out in her mind most clearly. She absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sort through those facts, making judgments, when she is by herself.
Mithril has never followed social norms nor does she feel the need to engage fully with others. As a result, she comes across as awkward in societal situations. Direct to the point of abruptness and tending at times to tread on toes, Mithril tends to speak literally, showing little concern for the impact. Independent, inscrutable, and self-contained, she is impossible to get to know as she only reveals what she chooses to reveal, when she choose to reveal it. Also, she is not overly emotional. This gives her a distant, aloof reputation. But as compensation for this social ungainliness, she has a built-in radar which enables her to intuitively read the motivations of others.
Her sixth sense gives Mithril a number of advantages in her daily life, and her insightful nature enables her to understand others better than she understands herself. She tends to be detached and prefers the logic of mechanical things to the complexity of emotions. Independent and reserved, Mithril treasures her personal space, and wants to be free to be spontaneous and follow her own lead. She responds poorly to direction however and functions best as a sole practitioner. She is selective about her relationships, and appreciates others who allow her plenty of freedom to do her own thing. Mithril’s unusual and sometimes awkward approach to life makes it difficult finding companions. She doesn’t care whether she is liked or disliked. However, she responds well to anyone who shares her philosophical perspective, and she loves spending long hours in deep conversation. Once finding friends, Mithril proves herself to be dependable and committed.
Her decisions stem from a sense of practical realism, and at her heart is a strong sense of direct fairness, a "do unto others" attitude, which really helps to explain many of Mithril’s more puzzling traits. Mithril is loyal to her causes and beliefs and is a firm believer that people should be treated with equity and fairness. Although she does not respect the rules of the "system", she follows her own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. She will not take part in something that violates her personal laws.

Mithril dresses entirely Asgardian and on-trend. She prides herself on appearances. In everyday, her garb is simplistic. She wears unadorned silk or chiffon sheaths. If she is required for anything social, Mithril prefers the same simple silhouette made expensive with transparent fabric and yards of beading. Her favorite colors are cool tones but she's not apposed to having a wide array or colors or textures.
