AIM Island

Boca Caliente was a small uninhabited island in the Carribean. It is part of the British Virgin Islands, and subject to British law, though in practise this is not enforced.

In 2016, it was purchased by Tony Stark to act as the base for Avengers Idea Mechanics outside of the reach of the United States government. Although the name was not legally changed, it is commonly referred to as AIM Island in both official and unofficial contexts.

The AIM Headquarters includes accomodations for employees, educational facilities, research and developement labs, an airstrip, and a partially submerged marine conservation center. The facility was constructed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, using solar and water power, with Arc Reactor back up generators.

It maintains close ties with Providence Island through AIM's Agon Inhuman Outreach Programme.
