Chitauri Invasion

An attempted invasion of Earth by Loki. He was given access to a Chitauri mothership by Thanos, who was seeking to retrieve the Tesseract from Earth.

After using the Mind Stone to force Erik Selvig and Bobbi Morse to assist him, Loki was able to open a portal to deep space, allowing his Chitauri Troops to travel to Earth.

The Invasion was repelled by the Avengers at the Battle of New York.
