Minotaur

Minotaur may refer to:

Hellenic Minotaurs: a rare magical Human-Bull hybrid species found in Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus.
R'Vaali Minotaurs: an extra-dimensional species native to R'Vaal in the Archipelago of Anguish and Redemption who resemble the Minotaurs of Greek myth.

Whether these species are related is a subject of debate in magical circles, but most scholars believe they are diverged races of a single species. The majority view is that R'Vaali Minotaurs are descendants of a Hellenic Minotaur who found their way into the Splinter Realms, although some argue the opposite - that Hellenic Minotaurs were not created by the gods but are descendants of R'Vaali Minotaurs who made it to Earth.
