The native sentient species are Minotaurs, but the relative stability of R'Vaal compared to other Spliter Realms means it has significant immigant and refugee populations from other realms.
It has longstanding diplomatic ties to the Asgardian Empire: King Theotormon married a Vanir woman, and their daughter Gefjon later married Prince Hœnir of Asgard.
