SC2024 Reading Challenge
My Summer Camp writing experience was a whirlwind of fun and challenge. I started late, racing against time to finish as many prompts as I could. Like many, I saw the Summer Camp announcements and thought, "I'll get to it later." May I be better prepared when next year's camp rolls around!
Despite the rush, the experience pushed my creativity to new heights, forcing me to think outside the box in many aspects of my world. I particularly enjoyed the prompts about food—they were a delightful and flavorful adventure in world-building.
Here are three of my favorite prompts I wrote.
Honey Peach Tart
Gramma Nut
Traveler's Treasure
For the rest of the year, my goals are to polish the articles I've written and expand on some of the prompts I missed. Specifically, I want to delve into creating a naturally sheltered place in my world, developing a hybrid species intentionally bred, and exploring a geographical location that is expanding.
Beyond that, I also want to read more of the incredible work from other talented authors. I've found so much inspiration in how others approached the prompts, and it's sparked new ideas for my own world. I’m eager to continue developing my world, writing more lore, and building its foundations as I go.
Now to share some of my favorite articles that I found very enchanting or inspiring!
Thank you for choosing one of my articles. That really makes me happy. I just read your article about the tart and I‘d really love to have one.
You are very welcome! Maybe I'll post the recipe when I get time.
