Amos Porter
Amos Porter and his wife, Colette, own and operate the Carrywood Inn located just outside the Bell Gate of the City of Len Doa. It is a large and busy inn, catering to traveling merchants and caravans and offering wagon and cart services and a farrier.
Amos has spent his entire life working at the Carrywood, as his parents built the inn before he was born.

Amos has built his success around the caravan and merchant trades that move through the gates of Len Doa on a daily basis. Goods and products arrive at the docks of Low Town and Seaside and are then loaded onto wagons and carts and caravanned to destinations and markets far inland and away from the major riverways.

Amos and Colette have never had any children, and this has weighed heavily on both of them over the years.

History
Colette is the daughter of a merchant captain from Aria named Alain Tourneur. While accompanying her father as a young woman to Len Doa, Colette met Amos and over the course of the trading season, fell in love with him. Colette's father was not happy, but Amos' parents were wealthy enough that his concern for his daughter's future soon faded.
