Madam Eldora Fey
Eldora Fey is a 50-year-old Halfling woman who owns and operates the Pony's Rest Inn. She is a lifelong resident of Thorn and is well loved by her neighbors. Eldora has as help in her running of the Rest eleven young Human orphans of teenage years. They are healthy and well fed and seem to delight in helping Eldora manage the inn. Five boys and seven girls between the ages of 10 and 15 all work the kitchen, common room and guest rooms while Eldora serves drinks and greets guests. She also employs two Hardhelm Dwarven brothers to manage the stables and keep the bathhouse fires going.

Personal history
Eldora never wed, but instead has been running the Pony's Rest every day since she was 19. She has raised no fewer than 56 orphans in the Rest, teaching them the trade of innkeeping while making sure they were warm, fed and healthy. She has never run out of help, and has never had to turn an orphan away, either.
