Princess Lea Mondi was the youngest daughter of the Prince of Fangort, and was married to the second son of King Max I of Imesse at the age of 19. Her husband, Mak, was a sickly youth and was frequently in his bed for weeks at a time. King Max I divided his kingdom between his sons, crowning Mak as King Mak I of Lesser Imesse and having him swear fealty to his elder twin brother, Max II as High King of All Imesse.
Mak and Lea had three children: Prince Mak, Princess Mavis and Princess Mira.
