The Earl Blackbeard is the head of the entire Clan Blackbeard and the political and military leader of the City of Thorahl in Gorgomoth. It is a position typically given for the life of the Earl, and the Earl is seen as the literal personification of the entire Clan, and the First Blackbeard incarnate. His word on any matter that pertains to or affects the entire Clan is final.
The current Earl Blackbeard was formerly known as Corin Blackbeard.
