Toby Bukkit
Toby Bukkit is the owner of The Thrown Shoe stables in the Town of Molisloth. He is 134-years-old and has been widowed for the last six years. His wife, Mildie Bukkit, died giving birth to twin daughters (a very rare occurence amongst Dwarves). Since then, Toby has been working tirelessly but not very successfully to raise his daughters and provide an adequate living for them in Molisloth.
Toby is a member of the Clan Hardhelm, and is very distantly related to Jaxon Hardhelm through his mother's side. However, he has fallen on some very hard times over the last eight years and he has made some poor decisions that have alienated him from both his close family and his larger Clan associations.
Toby has had the incredible misfortune to become indebted to the Lovelies, a ruthless crime syndicate that is actively trying to establish itself in Molisloth. The Lovelies have sent Boss Armin Hamlor to set up the operation and he is working out of the large cellar under the stables. The Crew numbers eight ruffians (including Armin) who pose as either adventurers or laborers in the stables, always on the lookout for information that might lead them to an ambush of legitimate adventurers that have found or secured loot from the wild.

Personal history
Toby is an honest, hard-working Dwarf that was madly in love with his wife, Mildie. Mildie was significantly younger than Toby, who was 126-years-old when they married, while she was only 66-years-old. The two dwarves had plans to move to the Town of Molisloth and set up a successful business in the newly established boomtown on the edge of civilization, and threw themselves into the effort with gusto.
Mildie became pregnant with twins, a rare occurence amongst Dwarves (less than one in 500 pregnancies are twins), and the birth was especially difficult. Mildie died shortly after giving birth to daughters Sildie and Tildie, and Toby took the loss especially hard. The two young Dwarf infants took much time and effort to tend and this made things difficult for Toby's business efforts. He slowly used up all his savings and means, and finally had to resort to borrowing money from a rough-looking man named Armin that had been using his stables recently. Toby assumed the gold was from loot obtained from adventures in the wild, but soon came to realize that Armin was not the adventurer he pretended to be, but was instead a seasoned criminal and conman out to swindle anyone he could.
Over the last five years, Armin has come to dominate Toby's life through threats and intimidation. Toby now does very little in regards to the operation of his business, and is receiving only a tenth of the income that the operation is generating because Armin is keeping the rest.
